“Perfect Timing”
We peeked in a room to see a nurse starting a procedure on an infant who was in his mother’s arms. The baby was crying. The mother looked up at us and said, “Not so good for a little person with stranger anxiety.” We stayed at in the doorway and Calvin played his ukulele softly. The infant stopped crying to listen and then started crying again as the nurse continued the procedure. A moment later the procedure was over and the mother was dancing with the baby in her arms while Calvin jammed on his uke. As we left the room, both the nurse and the mother said “Perfect timing!”
